I recommend Biotherm Biopur range. for oily and combination skin ;) n tea tree oil for pimples. but if it's really bad, go for the ever-so-popular PROACTIVE! kelly clarkson uses it. lol.

My Gift to you:
I work as a makeup artist/skincare consultant in the retail industry. I had worse acne than yours for most of my life. [40 now]

Here's the low down; wish someone would have explained this to me before thousands of dollars in products and visits to dermatologists:

-Forget about brands. Don't spend alot. Remember these following basic rules and you can use just about anything. Truly.

-exfoliation is the entire key here, and I mean time release, gentle, constant exfoliation. If you remove the tightly packed dead skin cells on the surface, bacteria oil dirt et-al doesn't get trapped -deeply or otherwise. But... NO scrubs, ever. A BETA hydroxy-acid is always best for this, and won't make your skin more sensitive to sun. [**Salicylic Acid**] Glycolics, alphas, skip 'em -they increase sun sensitivity.
[You can get dirty, be oily, have hormone surges, go through weather changes, but when you are thoroughly exfoliating, nothing will get trapped in pores and cause the bacterial infection. -That's what the redness, swelling, & pus core of a pimple is.]

-No need to dry out your skin or use anti-bacterials. This makes you more sensitive, MORE inflamed. You create more dried dead skin cells on the surface which will continue to trap things.

-Use GENTLE products. Cleanse softly with a beta-hydroxy cleanser, your fingertips are fine, especially if you have active red angry breakout. Scrubbing can tear beneath the surface, cause scarring, and spread bacterial infection.

-allowing your skin to calm down can allow your body to heal better and faster

-Put an exfoliating serum on dry clean skin, day and night if you can. In my opinion, the very best is Turnaround Concentrate from Clinique. [I do not necessarily recommend ANYTHING ELSE in their skin care.] But this one product is amazing. Or find something similar. Note: this is not acne medicine. But your acne will stop, and this is PREVENTATIVE, instead of simply blasting pimples after they happen.

-Moisturize with something cooling, possibly with aloe, healing, light, oil free but NOT oil controlling. That will only cause your brain to tell your skin to overcompensate and make more oil.

-sparingly use acne spot treatment on active breakout. this ideally will simply be more concentrated salicylic acid.

-repeat until the end of time...
I never breakout anymore. -even though my skin is still incredibly oily and prone to irritation and inflamation.

-be dilligent. be consistent. give it a solid month, not a week's try.
This will work. I have decades of experience.
